the great sadao ... i was at his workshop in Nepal two years back ... after everyone had thier question and answer with sadao and band .. i being very excited requested him to play this song...and the band played.. i was at the front row he even came down from the stage to place near me and played it to me looking at me from less than a foot away i felt so blessed after the show i had my reed signed, took photos oh what a day !!! *Rendezvous *

Sadao Watanabi is one of the greats. I loved listening to his music while I was stationed in San Diego. They had a little place called “Book Off” that had some of his CDs. Bought one because I love jazz. Best money I ever spent.

1984年の武道館以来、40年を経てナベさんの生演奏を再び聴けたことが本当に嬉しかった。いつまでもお元気で演奏を続けてほしいです。

The original track was with Marcus Miller on bass, Wilĺ´s good too, the lp jacket was kind of Eddward Hooper style, very good lp but hard to find
