That's the biggest problem with revenge. How do you get revenge without becoming dark?

I mean, his wife humiliated him professionally (she has more attitude and ideas than her husband), emotionally (she had sex with her husband's boss in front of him) and spiritually. I know everyone just wants to see their wife having sex. No one cares about Hutch, but a different NTR game would be interesting.

I agree with this , yes the Dev wants it to get dark but it doesn't necessarily mean that hutch has to get butt fucked at every turn to achieve that level of darkness

I would say unless we see something that says otherwise I reckon it's all to play for haha

You can say that for the bathroom scene (pure blackmail), may be as well for the kitchen scene in the middle of the night after the dinner.
The backyard and bedroom scenes, though are still in the grey.

If I understand you rightly, you would insist on a hedonistic attitude to sex with her in contrast to an only opportunistic or utilitaristic one? I'm not so sure that we have seen enough to diagnose this hedonistic element yet. But a lot of people probably would see BOTH these attitudes as signs of "sluttiness" in the common understanding.

WE talk about the game turning dark. THe only person to do that is Hutch. He in the only one scorned here... Wife and Boss. Vivian and Christian having sex is not dark ... Christian trying to humiliate Hutch is not... if Hutch doesn't care for them. It can just rool off.. He is to busy lining up his plan...Which can be Dark for a revenge to both of them !

She is not selfish enough to have such an attitude towards sex.
If that were the case she would made a scene during her visit at college. Instead she kept calm, not wanting to make the stay awfull for Sawyer, her son.
We don't know yet what Vivian let cross the red line but what we know is that the bathroom scene was a straight blackmail.
Although she could walk through the door, she stayed while hesitating and arguing but still stroking Christian's penis.

I hear you, so many things annoyed me about her character too. I mentioned previously, she is an "act first, think later" kind of person. Her contempt for her marriage and Hutch really pissed me off.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I would never intentionally do something that could hurt my partner, even if I knew that they would never find out. It's just not something I would do, I love and respect them too much for that. And here we have Vivian professing her love for Hutch and yet has no qualms about whoring herself out behind his back. I can't stand it!

i thought of it the same way you did until i googled it like the good wife vivian and did a deep dive .... and i kinda understood some logics and the way SC Stories left the kn open to interpretation by the readers. and it's the reader's imagination taking over to guide the plot. that is how i saw it others might have a different view. so far the explanation about the approach and the the story in the kn seem to follow that formula, that's what i think that y i keep saying that as it made me come up with a few theories based on that way of writing. you and DarkArchon have idea which were kinda similar to my theories. hope that answers the question. i'm bad a explaining stuff so excuse me.

its just a view point i think packard1928. for you hutch taking revenge may be dark. for me vivian humiliating hutch is dark. and for TheDuke9999 vivian and hutch getting back together is dark. its just a view point can be any way the reader interprets it.

its odd but we are just getting started with the assets vivian has there is more to come.... thats a given as SC Stories talked about awam lack of action. and this kn having a lot..... more to fun events for vivian to .... enjoy and then cry about later saying not her fault as she was swept up in the moment.
